Raphael Koch studied mathematics and physics as of 1990 at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. For his finals he changed to geophysics while maintaining his bridge to physics, where his diploma thesis related to solid-state physics.

Mr. Koch has been active in the field of intellectual property rights since 1998 when he commenced his training to become a patent attorney and in the course of which he finished his degree in ”Law for Patent Attorneys“ at the Hagen distance learning university. Following his accreditation as a German and European Patent Attorney Mr. Koch became a partner to the Office of Zipse Habersack in 2003.

His technical expertise is focussed on mechanical engineering, electrodynamics, chemistry, mineralogy, sewage treatment and metallurgy.
